After a little play with the setting and so on it is blooming awesome.......my 8years old alpine was good but this is amazing.

Sony xplods in the back and alpine in the front, just cheapie ones which is a huge improvement. The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead.

And it only blew after the HU was fitted? If so, then perhaps there has been some amateur wiring done to the rear by a previous owner?

I was thinking exactly the same....lol....I am the third owner and my mate was the second, just spoke with him and he thinks the guys who fitted the stereo when he had it might have done something weird.
