Wanted - ZU alloy's
I am looking for a set of 5 16 * 7 ZU alloys in anthracite for my defender, preferably without tyres.

Have any of our great 'wheel changers' got a set lying around ?

I would like undamaged rims if possible, but will consider damaged versions if they can be refurbished and the price is right Thumbs Up

Thanks for looking.

Bob

I will have a go at these.

Yep - second set !

The leather on the first set sagged badly on the back rest bolsters, Exmoor could not even tension it !

This set are much better so fingers crossed !

Very comfortable as well !

Just had a look at those wheels on flea bay again - they are heading into crazy money Shocked
I have a quote from First Four and will go with that if I can't find a second hand set.

Bob,

Just a thought,
I had balancing problems with my ZU's. Had to put alot of weight on some of the wheels. There is no outer edge to hang weights on.

Might be worth finding out if anybody else had the same problem?

If you spend a bit of time they are fine Thumbs Up

Stickies are best for Zu's use black ones if you have the Black or Grey ones

Depends on tyres too....my 285/75 BFG muds took most of the weights in the tyre change place and they were on performance alloys.

And with BFG's fitted they are always fun to balance on any rim.
