Special Vehicles Consignment No Plate?
Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on things for me.

I have a 110 hard-top utility, ex SSE, with side lockers fitted. The other night when closing the locker the rubber seal/hinge gave way, leaving me with the door in my hand, currently it is duck-taped shut. Rolling Eyes It had shown some signs of splitting, but I hadn't noticed it getting to failure point so quickly. Anyway, I am trying to source a replacement. I've been into the local dealer and they will try to get in touch with Special Vehicles to see if the part is available (the computer only shows the entire side panel with locker), but they need the contract or consignment number. The problem I have is that I can't find the number.

I used to run an ex-military 110, and the plate showing all that information (batch no, consignment no, military reg mark, date of issue, etc) was on the side of the seat box under the driver's seat. This one doesn't have such a plate, there's no mark on the VIN plate on top of the brake servo and I can't find a plate along the windscreen.

Does anyone have any idea where I could find either a) the contract/consignment no? or b) a new hinge/seal?

On closer inspection the other hinge looks as though its days may be numbered, so I'm looking for 2. Rolling Eyes

If anyone has any ideas I'd be more than pleased to hear from you.
