Many thanks but have been there already, thats why I am trying on the forum.
I need five 8J or 8.5J alloys for my own Puma, so don't mind if they were secondhand then we could spiv them. Andy. |

May be gone already.....may not??
Spivable no doubt! http://www.landyzone.co.uk/classifieds/sho...mp;cat=500 More here: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/classifieds/sho...OMPOMOTIVE Expensive nonetheless in my opinion. I may have a set of genuine boosts (4off) coming up for sale when my Mach 5s have been powder coated if you're interested. No spivving required - unmarked! Andy,
As per my initial post weren't these any good or are they out of stock? They are 8.5 X 16! http://www.devon4x4.com/products_a/p13241c...wheel.html Update: Just had to call them to get an update on my Mach 5s and asked on your behalf about availability, they haven't had any Compomotives for ages and are contacting Compomotive to see if they're still available. Have you considered other options a set of ZUs would be cheaper anyway? I know it's a personal choice but reckon ZUs look better in my own personal opinion, are £16 each cheaper and available in several finishes. If they were available in 8J or 8.5J maybe, but as I am going to be useing 285/75x16 which is not recomended on a 7J wheel rim and min rim width required for 285 section tyres is 7.5J, and as I have to be seen to do it the right way, the 7x16 ZU is not for me.
Still like to stay on the right side of things with insurance implications. Andy. |

I have these wheels, I do like them but the finish could be a little better. At some time I am going to get them refernished.

Could be challenged, but i was told reliably by someone who might make them, that the ZU rims are actually manufactured to a width of 7.5inch's but branded and TUV'd as 7's for now..
No idea if its true but there we go! |

Seems to be a shortage of nice 8Jx16 plus, alloys available, still looking.
Maybe at the next show I may find the right wheels, the new 110 is not due for about 8 weeks, so have a little time yet. Andy. |
