That is very cool. Is it demountable? Any pictures of the rear end and inside? Darren

Thanks for your compliments, we are very happy with it too
To Landroveranorak: sorry, i don't find pictures from the car without the camper yet. It is fully demountable and it takes very few minutes to put the camper off (and about 1/4 h to put it on), the main profit is to stay somewhere, leave in place the camper, and go with a nearly standard 130. Here are pictures of the inside: Click image to enlarge and the hold, with the little battery that works with a solar panel 130 TD4 camper Ex Disco 300TDI |

Dose it sleep four? When the camper is off are you left with a defender 130 "flatbed"? |

It sleep four in comfort with two children; with 4 adults, it's a little bit tight.

Hi,
You're right, it's a Bimobil. But it's not the special Defender one. This camper was first mounted on a Nissan or such a sh..t , and was after suited to another 130 with a specific frame to pass over the roof of the cabin. 130 TD4 camper Ex Disco 300TDI |

Look good, but with such a massive frontal area isn''t your fuel consumption much higher now?
If I were to go the camper route, I would insist on a model with a pop-up roof so that the front air resistance is minimised. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |
