Nice. What's the flat plate for under the front edge? Darren

It's a wind deflector, keeps the wind noise down. My Disco 'best bits'

The floor layout of Hannibal should keep the noise down a bit.

I can't really hear anything from the rack. With the windows down and some side wind you do get a bit of a whistle but the general massive cabin noise and transmission clunks drown out almost all of it.
I found that if you turn the large dial on the front of the stereo clockwise it fixes all the wind noise ![]() |

Hey Stu - I notice you have one of the legs positioned in the alpine window.
On the instructions from Flatdog mine said to move that foot one slat forward so it is clear of the window. |

Mine didn't have any instructions.
Funnily enough, on the passenger side I have moved the leg forward, but that was because it was catching the door. Real pain to move it though ![]() Defender 110 XS CSW 2013 |

I have a Hanibal rack (similar leg/fitting design) on my 110 and the gets cover a bit of the alpine window. It's been on 2 years of so now and I've not experienced any problems with it. Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful!

£575 + VAT - not worked out the mpg yet. I'll keep you posted when I fill up. However, since having the rack she's been well and truly loaded up so it might not be a fair comparison.
