So new speakers bought, new head unit bought and gonna get an active sub fitted too.......now for sound proofing.....

what would you recommend, it needs to be water proof too....mine is old and leaks exceptionally well....lol The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead.

Dynamat - waterproof works well and simple to install. Cut sheets to fit panel, peel of backing and stick. Use a haet gun and roller for ultimate adhesion, but so easy Whistle Thumbs Up
SGH or MPS trading on here can supply as can Chris at CSK. There are other products, but are cheaper copies. For peace of mind I stick with Dynamat Thumbs Up

Nice Nicks. Sadly I couldn't quite stretch to the DAB one.... Big Cry

But it's all good.

Gots to save for sound proofing... The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead.

IMO DAB is only any good if your a keen radio listener. Of which I am not. Hae listening to random rubbish that you have no choice with. Each to their own though. On the flip side what ever you choose you get brilliant sound quality. A lot of the Kenwood HU's rate a good 9/10. 10/10 for sound quality in reviews. Thumbs Up $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I really love the sound quality of my old Alpine unit. It is awesome so the Kenwood has a lot to live up too but from what I read and everyone says it will be as good if not better so I am a happy boy. The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead.

i wouldn't complain about Alpine's sound quality either. The only thing that does me is I cannot stand some of their build quality. Such as brittle loose plastic buttons etc on some models. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
