Monaco GP
Anyone been? Thinking of going next year & looking for suggestions of which grandstand is worth looking at. (Casino is already sold out on the official site!)

Went many years ago and we watched from the Swimming Pool stand, basically the run up to Rascasse.

It was excellent as there was a screen opposite plus the cars weren't just a blur,

We stayed in Menton, on the French side of the Italian border, and caught the train in every day, only a 15 minute journey and very civilised.

Went about 15 years ago and were on a yacht just by the exit from the tunnel, and also had seats in the stand next to the tunnel. Great place for action. However, when I saw the race this year (on TV!) the stand didn't seem to be there.

We stayed in Nice, but have stayed in Menton on a business trip and its a great place.

Are you sure?

The Automobile Club de Monaco doesn't normally release tickets until much later in the year (or early next) as far as I know.

Casino is excellent. Cars going past at 110mph, LOTS of noise but about 500 euros for Sunday.

Ok - maybe they haven't released them yet then... Some of the grandstands have places you can buy now, not not Casino...
