Out of the two i would choose the kam, but i have a feeling that the diff casing needs to be modified. Have you considered the ashcroft locker? 2004 TD5 Defender 90 xs station wagon

Is Ashcroft air or mechanical? I've not looked into overall cost yet also, so will check out. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Ashcroft lockers are around £570 including the VAT, plus you'll need a compressor too. It's the one I'd go for.
