Teak decking for load bed ? what do we think ?
I have been hunting plenty for ideas on dressing my load bay, I stumbled by a pic on Google of an overfinch vehicle with teak in the back of a 90PU.

I have found a plastic teak-alike and im very excited at the idea of "deking" my rover. wondered if anyone's done it before or perhaps seen it before to assess whether I should do it myself or not

Come on everybody. Am I the only person that thinks this is the most rediculous idea ever?

I'll have my load bed measured up tomorrow for iroko wood. Will have two cargo rails in the flooring, and cargo rails round the sides of the load bay.
It seems iroko is more dense than teak, so I hope it stands a better chance for my dogs.
Not that I have to be afraid of that, as I'll still have them lying on a carpet to not scratch the wooden floor. Mr. Green
Anyways, if anyone's interested, I can take a couple of pictures when finished.

Nope. Still don't get it. Wood chips, dents and splinters. Great for furniture and light use areas......the load bed of a defender, forget it.

Don't get me wrong, I love my wood....I work with it every day. But the Ali underneath it , in this particular application, is so much more practical
