I had my 110 serviced today and whilst it was there I also had a non-cat down pipe fitted. I've just used a standard pre-'02 down pipe, which I bought from Defenderbits for about £65, and I'm pleasantly surprised at the difference it's made. There's a bit more grunt at the bottom of the rev range, presumably because there's less resistance to the turbo spooling up. It'll be interesting to see what it does to fuel economy but from a drivability view point it's very worth while. Darren

+1 for the de-cat pipe
First think I do on any td5, de-cat pipe and remove the EGR N. |

Mine had been done by the previous owner so I can't connect on the difference, but it has a nice whistle from the exhaust on tick over. 2006 Defender Double Cab- Zambezi Silver

Very much plus 1 from me as well, that was one of the best things I've done to mine plus the passenger seat box doesn't roast the passenger when towing heavy loads up long hills
