What size you looking at on which landie?

I've been running BFG's (KMs and more recently KM2s) for the last 15 years now.

Getting 75-80k miles out of a set of KMs, KM2s have only been on a few thousand miles however so will see how they last.

Both types have seen plenty action Smile

I think STT's on the front and KM2's on the back, although some bright spark will tell you to put the KM2's on the front Rolling Eyes Mr. Green

They were good at seperating the men from the boys, that's for sure!

Great tyre though! My S1 86" is still running on them. Thumbs Up

KM2s 255/85. Upsize! Extra ground clearance on a taller tyre (Toyo Open Country also do 255 85s).& no suspension lift needed.

My on-car spare is KM2 & I've got another tyre stored (Camskill is cheapest online).... Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, XCL's Laughing

I had a set on a Series III years ago. The novelty of being able to go just about anywhere off road soon wore off when back on the road though. Darren

If you don't mind remoulds, Insa Turbo's Traction Trac tyres use the same pattern as the much-missed BFG Track Edge tyres http://www.camskill.co.uk/m64b0s234p59597/...T_114N_TL_ Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world.
