Assuming these are well behaved dogs (which I am sure they are) then there really is no problem. I have 3 of my own here on the farm and there will be no sheep in the camping field anyway. If the thought of leaving your dogs behind is the only thing stopping you coming over, and you have their passports/rabies stuff up to date so that they can come into the UK, then they (and you of course) will be made very welcome. You can camp on the farm for a few days before and after as you please, make a bit more of a holiday out of the trip. Mark |

Discussed it with the wife. No chance of even trying to leave her behind!
The dogs are as well behaved as you can get them. Never agressive, although being airedales, they love to play in the field. So count us in. Would be great to meet some of you irl. |

Woohoo, and now tookaphotoof with dogs!
The missus is a trained dog groomer and animal health care...something, so we can keep her busy health checking MM's 100,000 sheep, cows and Welsh Yeti's, then in the evening she will get her clippers out give them a once over...if you like haha. Let me know as she has just brought new clippers and scissors....with someones bank card. =================================== Steve 90 xs sw in Stonoway Grey - Sold 110 USW X-TECH |

She is welcome to clip my sheepdogs Lishlandy. My missus is always trying to trim them down a bit, much to my disgust!

Lishlandy, had the airedales groomed about two months ago. Mind you, I would feel terribly sorry for your ruïning your wife's holiday by letting her groom two of those! That's probably about 7-8 hours labour.
Wonder if she can teach them to stop stealing my cookies. |

Yes, she nearly spat tea on me when I said I had put her up for grooming your two, she confirmed about 4 hours per dog, something about a hand strip and then punched me on the arm....am glad they are already groomed in other words....I am a better trainer than her , still debating whether to bring our 2 tri-colour collies with us.....they are great. ===================================

details - timings, location etc will be going out this week via email, i will confirm here when they have been sent.
Even the weather is looking good for it. For the enthusiastic out there - scenery, tracks and trails area superb in the area so bring a bike, trainers, walking boots if you want to get out and see more. There is also a horse/pony trekking centre at the Priory 1 mile up the road. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |
