This wheel http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/s...ring-wheel caught my eye.
Large-ish diameter & deep dish. Also the Sparco 368 http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/s...uede-380mm Latter is cheaper & may be a more practical size. What are anyone's thoughts on rectangular wheel for a Defender? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Completely barking. Unless you're a fan of the Austin Allegro, in which case it's still completely barking ![]() 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

I too like the mono. But it certainly needs to be about 14" as the standard wheel is huge ! Why so big ?! I want a smaller wheel but the price tag of all the nice ones are an off put I may buy one of the cheaper ones to begin with and save up for a decent one

If FCX's customised Nero were not so expensive I might go for that. But he wants £355, & the standard one is £190.79. Big difference. Enough to afford a standard + quick detachable boss. Some very nice wheels there, especially in the second link....love the "retro" look of some of them.
Cheers, Pickles. |

That is also a very nice wheel....How old is it?....Momo have always made magnificent wheels...my 1991 VN Group A Commodore had a similar wheel to that, obviously not the same, & not as "rounded", but the similarity is there.. a Ghibli 111, I think it was called. My set up does include the boss as well and all the leather work which isn't included in your price in all fairness when comparing BW

Fair enough. What diameter size is the Nero you customise? Is it the same size as the one in your "tangoed" 130 at Billing? Can you cover larger diameter wheels similarily, if sent to you? If so what charge? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender
