Colour coding a kbx grill
This might sound stupid but can you colour code the cheaper kbx grill or is it textured? Would it be easier to buy the more expensive one?

When you say cheaper one do you mean the matt one? AKAIK they are either matt or gloss only and I doubt the matt is textured but I can't be certain. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Funny you should ask that! Was talking about this... Can't see why painting it would be a problem! Thumbs Up An engine to TDi for!

Yes i think the cheaper one is satin black but im not entirely sure what the differences are? And if its just colour i may as well buy the cheaper one as its getting colour coded anyway

Satin is not necessarily cheaper. Both satin and otherwise do a 'premium' grill that has stainless mesh fitted. I have the satin 'premium' and it is not textured.

Thumbs Up

Even if it was textured a primer would sort that out especially a hi-build primer. (Although I doubt it would be needed.

I quite like it as is in gloss black. But colour coding could indeed work but would certainly need carful thought to it before hand or it could look awful.

Satin black is basically just matt black so there is no shine to it. (think standard trim) if you wanted black then you want the gloss black out of the box but if your painting either would do as you can make it how ever you want. Thumbs Up
**EDIT**
K9 pretty much summed it up there. Smile ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️
