I've been roped-in to assist with guiding a 3-Peaks event on 5th & 6th July.
We've committed to climbing the three highest peaks in the United Kingdom (Snowdon, Scar Fell & Ben Nevis) – namely the 3Peaks Challenge. We are undertaking this task commencing on Friday 5th July with our ascent of Snowdon scheduled to commence at about 7pm, and we aim to finish our descent of Ben Bevis in Scotland by Saturday evening and then head off for some liquid refreshment and a good night’s sleep 
The challenge aims to raise money for two charities, these being Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Services www.alexanderdevine.org and Nephrotic Syndrome Trust (NeST) www.nstrust.co.uk. the company I work for has an association with both of these charities at a local level, and both of these charaties provide vital services &/or research to help sick children. My company/employer will money-match donations for the first £150 (i.e. making £150 double-up to £300 in donations). If you're feeling like helping these charities, this is a good time!
