assuming I can get the oil in I'm might be tempted to do a full oil change because I think the drain plug needs to come out as its leaking oil.

assuming all is ok I suspect the best thing to do will be put some ptfe tape on it. ??

what do you reckon / or should it be a warranty call ??

thanks.

TBH I'd just try wiping it and and nip it up first. Steve.

thanks so much guys.

I believe my LR is magical !!

before they replaced my gearbox I swear blind they thought I was pouring oil over the gearbox to make it look like an oil leak cos they kept saying strange this we've replaced the oil seal 3 times now all each time it looks fine - further more the gearbox is full of oil so don't know where its coming from......

now the transfer box oil plug keeps dripping oil but seems full enough not to worry about it - so I won't .! Very Happy

did pull the pull out as far as I dared and then tightened it up again (tightend it before but it keeps dripping?)

I think its a case of doing a full transefer box oil change soon but not today and when I do a little ptfe tape around the plug should sort it.

another cup of tea and then finish off by nipping up the front end of the prop and then fitting the rear end (not necessarilly in that order).

thanks again. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
