That could be added to the list, but then again it is over £100 more, can anyone justify a 3rd more in price? Optimists say the glass is half full..

I wouldn't know myself but if I was in the market for a diagnostic tool on the basis of what both Pete and Daniele recommend that would be good enough for me personally.

Drop them a 'PM' you'll get a quicker answer. Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Does this mean:-

a) that a Nanocom Evo is not VIN-locked, and/or

b) that a Nanocom Evo for Td5 will work on both Disco2 and Discovery?

They are not VIN locked but certainly model specific so you couldn't use a TD5 on a Disco

But a Disco2 Td5 Nanocom Evo should work on all Td5 Disco2's, and a Puma Defender one should work on all Puma Defenders?

Interesting info, many thanks! Thumbs Up

For the Puma I'm not so sure the Nanocom is worth it - if its brand specific error codes you want a cheaper code reader such as Sealey VS8702 http://www.toolstop.co.uk/sealey-vs8702-eobd-code-reader-p57417

Now the Nanocom has no manual as such so maybe it has loads of other features that i don't know about.....
