And the worst part about it all is, that whoever crosses the bridge, it is the French who are taking the cash!

Since it is less than a month until this event I thought you might like a few pictures of what to expect.
We have a nice campsite with plenty of flat space and a river to lull you to sleep. We will be having a big camp fire to sit around on the Saturday evening to swap stories. Click image to enlarge Obviously there will be no cattle in the field since I sold them all about 4 years ago The drive round element will be non-damaging but will be designed to give you a good feel for the capabilities of your truck and offer the opportunity to try out your various driving aids where fitted (TC Diff-lock, hill descent etc). Expert guidance from an LRE instructor will be on hand at all times. Some taster shots of the area where the drive around will take place Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge On the sunday we plan a full day of greenlaning in Mid Wales. Here are a couple of pics of what you might expect (though hopefully not the snow ) Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge There are still a couple of spaces left if people are interested. Just visit the website for details of how to sign up and hopefully we will see you there Mark http://www.4x4adventures.co.uk/_main/4x4ad...eekend.htm |

So then folks, for those that are going along..... what time are you all planning to arrive?
Sadly, due to my colleague being on summer hols, we won't be there until mid/late Friday evening. Does this mean I'll have to suffer the indignity of pitching the tent in full view of everyone else and then get scored on my abilities ? Thanks MM for the pics.... beautiful setting. Even from a distance, I can tell the bloke at the back of the convoy in the fourth pic looks like he really know's his stuff Liking the sound of the river at the campsite, sounds like a perfect natural beer/wine cooler Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

the campsite is beautiful
We are just finalising the plans now, currently one vehicle place left which would take us upto our 6 planned vehicles. Weather is looking good for the weekend too! Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

That would be like committing adultery I don't think it would be clever turning up in a Freelander and risking a stoning Proud owner 110 Utility XS Ex RR Sport HST V8 Ex Td5 90 |

Smart man you are! In miles in doesn't sound as far for a weekend.
Wonder if I could let someone babysit my dogs. |

If it's really no problem I will seriously consider coming over. It's hard to part with my furry clowns.
