Are you serious? You're the man! I'm not sure I can take that, though... I already owe you a chunk of money for the pedal lock Also, unfortunately I can't build in a trip through Hoddesdon into my route - have to go via Ipswich to pick up my mate
Thanks though! I'll buy one off you (without DRLs ) next time I have money/am in London... Which SHOULD be in July. Geoff 2007 Defender 90 Click image to enlarge |

Le Mans is always a good time of year for us. Instead of the usual boring old Euroboxes we get to see first hand en-route to France some very expensive, rare and outstanding examples of vehicles. Especially during the Classic Le Mans. Many of them are so low they can't negotiate the ramp to get on board and extra ramps have to be laid down. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Last year I didn't use any, no - but I was only ever driving during the day. I think if you buy one of those Halfords "drive in france" kits they include everything you'll need i.e. breathalyzer, triangle etc. I won't be sticking any light converters on this year either, the police around Le Mans seem to be lenient about almost anything haha. It's the ones that try to catch you on the way down you need to watch out for! But at midnight you might be alright Geoff 2007 Defender 90 Click image to enlarge |

I'm leaving any moment now and will keep an eye out for you. I'm not in my Defender but a grey RRS with DHG on the reg and on Houx which is opposite Maison Blanche inside the track between Porsche Curves and the pits.
Watch out for Rouen (if you're going from Calais)..... I'm told its carnage due to diversions. Oh and pack a mac, by the looks of things. James Follow us on Twitter: @GrangeBarnetJLR Last edited by James @ Grange Barnet LR on 19th Jun 2013 11:32pm. Edited 1 time in total |

I'll watch out for ya! I've driven down to Ipswich tonight and will be going on the 11am Dover Calais ferry tomorrow. If we don't break down (and I think I can feel one coming haha) well be at Maison Blanche to catch the evening session. We've heard about Rouen - cheers. Bloody French bridges, eh! With regards to Rouen, be wary of the underpasses in the middle of the roads (TomTom usually takes you down them), as they are very low Sprinter van had a nice convertible conversion when I was there last year An engine to TDi for!

Avoid Rouen.
There's a major road closure causing huge delays. |
