Searched but didn't find anything.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a non slip puma seat cover. I'm looking to get some for the utility when it arrives (fronts) rears I will use a blanket but my experience of seat covers is reminiscent of ending up in the passenger footwell as a lot are slippy. Any ideas for a fairly grippy, long lasting cover. Are the genuine LR ones any good? |

I have seen these on eBay, they say they are a tailored fit.

I've just fitted those EBay ones in the middle row & I have Genuine Land Rovers on the front seats - they seem identical apart from the logos! not had them long enough to comment on durability.

We have been using the Nakatanenga seat covers for a while now.
These seat covers are a universal seat cover so are not a tailored fit. They are not fully water proof, however I personally do not like a lot of the water proof ones. A couple of reasons for this. Waterproof fabric tends to be harsh to sit on and can be sweat inducing in warm weather. So far have found the Nakatanenga ones to be soft, comfortable and non sweat inducing. They have a lot of pockets suitable for hi vis vest/first aid kit, torch etc OK a couple of minor minus points, not a tailored fit and do not work with seats with adjustable arm rests. Brendan |

Even though it pains me to say it but, the Britpart seat covers are good, I'm not sure whether there is much difference in a Puma seat to previous ones but a set I had 6 years ago are still going strong in my everyday well used Defender. I've had them in Disco 1's and 2's and a set is pretty much the first thing that goes on a new motor. I think there are two stalks on the headrest nowadays but the set I have would fit as there is a long opening on the top of the cover. The only drawback is that they don't do headrest covers but as you get a middle seat cover I got my sewing machine out and made my own.

I have britpart ones too, had them on my td5 for 8 years and where as good when I sold my seats as when I fitted them (100k miles)
I now have puma seats and they are even better for those, they come with the backs and bases as 2 pieces so its easy to take the seat base out. I must say they are very very good and much harder wearing than the thin land rover ones. Also machine washable, and after the first wash they are much softer and nicer to sit on. Pete. |
