Even if I turn the heater down, it is on full. Before I hunt around with my trusty hammer, I would appreciate any advice from you if you have had the same problem.
Thanks, Merlin |

had that on mine, it was the end of the cable where it goes into the heater under the bonnet, there is a white valve type thing on top of the heater and the end of the cable has an eye on it which had bent. Just un clip the cable and straighten with a pair of pliers, the cable has too push the valve to get cold air and mine was only bent a little bit but was hot all the time.
Hope my c*ap description helps ![]() Main Dealers for Equi-Trek and Brian James Trailers |

Mines not fully hot when on cold, but warm, then 1 click towards the red it's full on ( might as well be a switch not a dial)
I've not looked ate the cable yet - just switched the AC on! ![]() Discovery 1 300Tdi - Sold Defender 110 XS 07MY Utility |

See above, had the same thing and moving the cable sleeve back to the correct position and closing the clip properly solved my problem.

The heater control valve seems stuck. Any idea what the part number is?

Just a thought. Have you got the selector set to recycle or to draw in fresh air? Don't make old people mad.

We had the same problem 2 weeks ago, the 110 was that hot inside we had to stop and get out, the wife soon sorted it after finding that the selector was on recycle (across to passenger side), after moving it and running for 5 minutes it started to drag in cooler air. Don't make old people mad.
