That camshaft cap is fine.... if oil doesn't come out then water won't come in (and it's under a bit of pressure from inside the engine.
Usual suspects are: wading plug in clutch bellhousing, ECU under the drivers seat, throttle pedal (Can revert to "tickover" only if it gets too wet. |

Ah cheers ok i saw it and wondered, wading plug? is this in a holder somewhere as on older defenders or have i got to locate/ find a bolt? Ed

There's not a holder for it, like the older models had. so it'll either be fitted or in the cubby box/tool roll.
