Can anyone tell me if the remap makes the landrover warranty void ? My 110 xtech is only 6 month old with 11k on the clock, would it be better to wait till its out of warranty or would it not be picked up by landrover when they service it ? Like the sound of the extra power/torque and mpg as at the moment its average mpg is between 21-22.

Any modification at all even including things like non standard wheel can void your warranty if the dealer picks up on it, It would not be fare to say any different.
It really does depend on your dealer most have found. We can if needed program a second ecu with the tuninng on and you can swap back and forth for official visits. Most customers dont worry to much but I appreciate warranty is a concern for others. regards Pete Last edited by bell-auto-services on 14th Jun 2013 6:16am. Edited 1 time in total |

If it's not JLR approved it will void the warranty. They have not tested the remap and the effect it has on the component parts of the engine or transmission so they will hardly warranty it against failure. Getting a warranty claim paid can be difficult enough without giving them any excuse not to pay!
