All joking aside, anyone noticed any significant drop in performance/decrease in MPG etc since fitting their snorkel? Mark

I think I know the post you're talking about, but IIRC, the poster was referring to before and after fitting a roof rack, rather than a RAI (although the majority of the thread was about RAI's) Mark

Ah, sorry mate. Wasn't the thread I was thinking of, but:
"I've always got about 28, sometimes a little more, but i've had a snorkel on from day one" doesnt actually suggest the same as your quote of getting about 30, then dropping to about 25 after fitment, chap Have you fitted an RAI to yours/noticed any differences at all? *edited to say: just had a look at the thread again, I was looking at same thread, but the quote I was thinking of was from James55 (?) about his Patriot (I thought was a roof rack) - "Agree with Willy on that one, I was getting 30ish but then I fitted my Patriot and it's come down a bit to around 25/26ish but 17 that is extreme." Crossed wires, meethinks! Mark 2011 110 XS DC Stornoway Grey |

Since I fitted my RAI I've not noticed any difference in performance or fuel economy. Peter

That is the one I have on mine which I will be taking off- can't fit a roll cage with it on, and it has the Block ofcheese on the top! Not a great pictures but I guess I subconciously take pictures without it in it Glyn Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
