Quick update , fitted the Velcro heavy duty (thanks k9f) it appears to stick ok ish .
Not fell off yet but not quite perfect. May need to add some acrylic red gel tape to fix it proper.

My last resort is always PU adhesive foam ("Arbofoam" in UK?). It is sold as "foam glue" here. I've yet to find something it won't stick... permanently. Downside is that it is pretty much impossible to clean off. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

You can get Soudal (original brand) at B&Q Thumbs Up
http://www.diy.com/nav/build/building-mate...kies=false

Try to get one sold as "Adhesive" - it probably won't foam as much. Test an area first for adhesion and see how you get on with the expansion characteristic - bear in mind it will initially "push" outward as it foams (you have to keep "knocking it back")... and do not get it anywhere you do not want it! It's triggered by moisture in the air - so no problem in the UK or here Laughing

Couple of other tips:
1) It often comes with 2 or 3 spare nozzles (tubes) - if you want to do multiple applications try to get some, as it sets inside.
2) When you stop applying it, it will keep expanding in the tube... and drip wherever you put the can. I make this mistake every time Rolling Eyes
3) The leftover foam will set in the can after a few weeks. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Just fitted it with the adhesive as per zezee Bow down Bow down Bow down Bow down
Touch wood its stuck like s&&t to a blanket . I will report back if it stays put. Looking very good though .
Couple of tips
Watch the nozzle for overflow
I ran 3 lines of foam on each piece , as it collapses when you push it back . 15 mins to tacky 45mins solid .

You must make sure all old adhesive is off the area before you use new adhesive or it eventually will come apart again Thumbs Up
