I know there's a few people that have mentioned the engine blip during gear change and I think for me it has got better has the transmission and clutch assmebly has worn in. The gear changes or much smoother despite the engine blip, I think it happens on many cars it just more obvious on the land rover due to its weight and the fact that it can easliy lose momentum during gear change.

Mine's the same. It's not so noticeable now but I think that's just because I've sub-consciously altered my driving style to compensate. I tend to back off the throttle just a tad earlier when I change gears. Makes driving my other car a pain now.
Someone here mentioned an update or something for the engine management but when I queried this with my dealer they "looked into it" and said there's no such thing. 2007 Defender 110 1970 Alfa Romeo 1750GTV |

Yeah do it get some times but not so much know its got some mile on it would say more when its cold then warm up
