Didn't know that LR had stopped doing the carpets. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

I took delivery of my XS in March and was surprised to see that there were no carpets in the back, only a thin rubber mat. Fair do's to the dealer though, he arranged a set for me and fitted them for free last week . In this case I'm happy to name the dealer as Harwoods in Pulborough. I'm just as keen to report good service as bad, hopefully the good will be more frequent than the other

Carpets have been an option on XS (bar utility), as mentioned since 13MY was launched, apparently it was not very clear though! |

What's the rationale behind not offering on USW? Not everyone needing a go-anywhere van is carrying dead sheep and rusty ball bearings

Hello from Aus. What do these carpets comprise?...Do they go all over the sides of the seat box etc, sides & base of the rear , also transmission tunnel etc...in other words, what do they cover? Have you any images? Thanks, Pickles. |

I think they thinned them out to save money and realised they were carp so put them down as an option. |

Just had a PM from "Mike" at Landrover, & he said that they don't fit carpets to Defenders any more.
Cheers, Pickles. |
