2nd, higher, pair of rear indicators?
Has anyone fitted a 2nd pair of indicators, e.g. higher/on a roof rack or roof bar. Or on the vehicle body itself.

As saloon cars seem to be getting their rear indicators nearer their roofs, which helps bumper hugging high vehicles to see them, I was thinking of getting a second set at rear, maybe same or higher than the safari door brake light. Would also help with bikes on the rear carrier.

(I guess a trailer rear lights assembly would work as a make-do external stopgap, but want something more permanent & attractive) Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Did something similar with military rubies on a series 3 I rebuilt. Works well.

Not from that supplier, but the general design is the same. (Although they are ridiculously expensive in the link above Shocked ) An engine to TDi for!

Well yes, I think I first did that back in the '70's. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.

Very neat Thumbs Up I like the extra stop lights as well. I was thinking of having some top of the 2 rear windows inside. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. To save putting more holes in your bodywork, have a look at rocard rear light bars. Kinda like a front one but sits at the rear. Either 9 or 11 tabs i think. Useful for lights cb, aerials etc.
