I would say its more hassle than its worth to make a stowable LED light bar inside the windscreen! Mounting it on the front of the landy, perhaps above the front bumper would have the desired effect? 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

Prices now reduced on last remaining units so I can purchase other stock as well as light bars!
Pic below shows a 40" in action on my own defender  as you can see its rather bright with a good spread of light from its combination flood/spot lenses.

Yes they are all combo flood/spots aka 3D beam. Very tempted! What's the light output difference between the 12" and the 20" ? And do you have any pics of them fitted directly to the top of the bumper?
