Alpine uk popped down a few weeks back and asked me if i could start making them for them He showed me there current one which is in two halves which shocked me but my guess was because of the weight of the dash, still not sure why. Have a google up there a uk company Simon CSK Automotive

The dash mod looks like a great idea. Certainly prefer that to the flip screen look Chris B

I have just fitted a double din dash to my 2012 110. It involved cutting the top section off (the bit with the clock) and cutting a fearsomely large hole in the right side of the centre dash. I only had to lengthen one switch lead, but had to unwind some of the loom covering. I now have satnav, DVD, radio/CD, rear view camera and iPod connection. It took a couple of days, mostly taken up with plucking up the courage to attack the existing dash.
The dash units are excellent quality and everything fitted easily. It was pricey-£299, but looks great. |
