IRB new tune TDCI
Last year, after I only partially updated my ECU (despite the best efforts of Lorryman & BAS to help me fix it) Ian at IRB sorted my truck and put a tune on it. I was very grateful and very impressed with the increase in power and driveability.

The only downside was some noticeable smoke on hard acceleration, or if towing at certain rev ranges.

Friday night, Ian updated it to his latest IRB410 tune - the difference is almost as noticeable as going from the standard tune to the first one. Torque is instant and appears to be much more progressive, first gear is almost redundant, no noticeable smoke at all, its just so driveable!

I find that I catch cars up very quickly and that I'm doing a higher speed than I expect given normal acceleration - if that makes sense.

Once again Ian, very many thanks & once you're back from your hols, can you give me some idea of intercooler and stainless exhaust cost pls?

Cheers Keith

Laughing Ever notice when at the zoo there's a sign adjacent to the bear enclosure that says "Don't Poke The Bear!?"

Best thing is for you is to maybe ring round and speak to each in person and make your own mind up based on your needs and the answers/customer service you receive from your enquiries. Or discreetly 'pm' a few people. I did exactly the same! It prevents bunfighting with people each professing to have the best map in the World and spats between sponsors.

Think we've been here before! Whistle

No need to wait until you're out of warranty either unless it's just for peace of mind! Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!
