One thing is for sure, if you read thru all 10 threads of this "Land Rover Customer Relations" forum subsection, I can only say that I have never in my life seen such an ill handled attempt to get closer to the customer. Land Rover are not doing any good to themselves with the way they are handling this. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I was thinking that and it is in no way a criticism of the individuals but what would benefit Land Rover would be someone who understands how enthusiasts work and think and why we all put up with the s t they nail together in solihull and still love them to bits. People like Pete at BAS, Tim at MobileCentre, Brendan at Overlander show how being part of this world benefits business and massively benefits us punters too so there's value here but only through building relationships and credibility. At least they have shown they know the forum is here and that engaging is a good idea. C 2015 110 USW XS in Santorini with premium contrast leather seats in tan/black, black headlining and with Dual Finish alloys (in the garage, now on Wolf rims with Goodyear MT/Rs) 2012 '62' 2.2 X-Tech 110 USW now gone ... 1984 90 soft top with full roll cage, 200 tdi engine etc now sold 2012 USW XS 2.2 "FUU" now gone.... |

All these "LR Customer Relations" posts just look like random text to me. I suspect LR use a robot to write them just like other spam E-Mails
p.s. does anyone remember the comment from Kelly(?) that "the LR Development Team is not customer-facing"? That was the point at which I concluded they were sticking their faces up somewhere else...
