JW8700 install help
Fitting the JW speaker headlights with marker lamp and need some guidance.

1 connector is a simple plug and play but the other (marker lamp) is different. Question is, should there be a plug to connect on to? Or shall I cut the existing connector and crimp the cables together?

If your Speaker headlights have a 'marker' lamp there should be a single cable coming out of the back of the headlight with (from memory) a male spade terminal.

DONT cut that plug off and crimp the two wires together, that will create a dead short

That's correct, however the 2 connectors for the headlight are what's seen in the pic above, 1 3 pin (black) and the other (white and yellow connector) for the sidelight bulb.

OK, so the positive cable on the two pin plug goes to the single cable on the headlight, the other is an earth which is not required

May take you up on that, I will soon have a good bit of wiring to do. Carling switches to hook up and run cables for future upgrades.
