2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green

Making Mantec mate with LR OE parts.

My garage is having to do some modification on my rubber A bar to get it to fit on the new Mantec bumper. The garage is not LR concession, but a LR specialising garage.

The Mantec bumper http://www.mantec.co.uk/images/products/fu...0A-BAr.jpg is (Mantec says) designed to take the rubber A bar.

However my garage says that the official LR sold one has slight differences to the Mantec one. A cautionary tale I guess. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy.
