Interference on stereo
Stereo is a Clarion DB568 RUSB.

I can play music through my phone (Sony Experia Arc) via a the stereo AUX socket no problems, but as soon as the phone is connected to the 12V socket to charge you can hear the whistle / whine of the engine / turbo.

Is there a cheap easy fix?

If your mobe uses a "standard" micro USB charging lead, try to get one with a ferrite core molded onto one end..

When you say connected to the HU Aux do you mean via an audio jack? If so make sure it's secure. Sounds simple I know but sometimes if it's not fully inserted and secure it can cause a little bit of noise issues. My home hi-fi will do if not connected perfectly. No Guts, No Glory.

Cabled tied in so secure as a secure thing. Not the best quality leads I guess but will try the ferrite core lead approach. Seen some on fleabay for a couple of quid so worth a punt!
