Are both these the same thing?

Mantec make the snorkels for Land Rover. They're exactly the same (except for the price ). Darren

If you're talking about sealing it to make it watertight then there's a recent on here where somebody detailed how they'd done just that. It's quite involved though, as the rest of the intake system needs quite a lot of work too, IIRC. Darren

The genuine land rover one looks like it has four screws holding it on but these are just dummies.
The top is smaller on a gen one. On another note I really don't think they are as good as they used to be. I've fitted a few and the last one didn't seem to line up as easy. But this could be land rover not mantec. Don't know why I bothered writing that cause its the land rover. |
