Probably easier to answer once you have posted up a picture of your wife I'd say!

It's a no brainer really, or if you prefer it's a rhetorical question.
The Defender definately has the better bodywork. As for curves, well the Defender wins handsdown. The way the soapy water cascades off the wings then trickles down and off the front indicators, drip by drip by drip. Then there's the drying of the self same curves with a chamoix leather followed by an all over waxing and a nice slow polishing followed by an even slower buffing with an ultra soft cloth. One has to take one's sweet time and buff those good solid curves with great care and deliberation. Luxuriate in it even, one might say. Definately the Defender wins - no contest. If only I could get a tight fitting teeshirt to fit a Defender. Think of how those glorious, solid ever lasting curves would look in a wet soapy teeshirt. Must dash - something's come up..... 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

Mine is getting ready for some bodywork doing, getting a bit rough around the edges but still presentable. Have thought about trading in for a newer model but that would come at a significant cost. Also mine is leak free and has only had a couple of previous owners, one of which i knew well, and i also know he spent a fortune trying to keep things as they should be. Best of all mine has a nice tight gearbox and uprated performance
As for the car, i have got an old green landrover!! Paul 2000 90 TD5,galv chassis, d2 axles ,Bas remap , alisport intercooler , d2 transfer box , side windows-more to come-much more!! *GONE* 2004 110 TD5 Double cab. *GONE* 2010 110 2.4 XS station wagon |
