Hi had a look on your site at L R stuff, does look very good, and well made, but for me too dear, have not bought L R gear, would rather but good tea shirts and other clothes, with out paying for a L R logo.
My wife did buy me a shirt a few years ago. Just my opinion, am sure others will give better opinion then me. My children always say I am a Dinosaur, and don't keep up with fashion. kevin Live Life Ti'l You Die Teddys are out thier http://teddybearspicnic.webs.com http://130sasha.co.uk/ |

I don't know if it's changed but LR Gear from USA always was a better range.
My brother was for about 5 years a driving instructor for LR North America and the stuff he got as way way better than anything available over here at the time. Simon |

We have a mug and a Safari Bear
Don't think the current range apart from HUE mug is all that really, maybe the umbrella would be nice |

Too expensive for me so wouldn't purchase anything unless on sale.
Never been one to buy brands anyway ( apart from my choice of car ) unless heavily discounted . |

Sorry but just too expensive.
The Land Rover brand is not a clothing brand to me I would however as already has been said invest my bucks in really good models with lots of detail of the defender range. FCX tshirts are great for 14.95, I feel that's the price point for a LR tshirt. I would buy the tshirts in a tin at this price. |

Wear something with an advertising logo on it, stuff like Ray-Bans, Ben Sherman or Hush Puppies that were cool when you yourself were a teenager, or a football shirt with a number 9 on it, and really give them something to laugh at. Ferrari were the first car manufacturer to make more money with world-wide merchandising than actual car sales, theyre now toying (geddit?) with the idea of ceasing volume production in favour of one-off bespoke vehicles at a squillion quid a pop. Gold plated Evoque and a matching watch, anyone? Peter |

none of it appeals to me.
I have owned a realy good quality Land Rover t shirt in the past that I purchased from Beatties in Solihull, (was land rover endorsed / branded) it was a quality bit of kit and real thick, I still have it as my painting t shirt other than that Im not impressed. I also have a land rover leather hat, but have never worn it. Basic and Subtle for me to buy. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

Did I hear our name mentioned
The land rover stuff is good quality and I used to spend hours wandering around their shop at Bluewater I think they've lost their way a bit now and stuff is more aimed at the Range Rover owner than Defender, which is why FCX intend to give Land Rover a run for their money .... Sorry for advertising on your post Dan, although I'm hoping you'll be retailing our 'apparel' along side our leather soon |

Would not buy any current Land Rover gear. I would like to see the green Islay fleece and Highland fleece back in the range.
Speaking as a lifelong Defender owner if Land Rover want to sell good gear, fit for a Defender owner they should team up with http://swazi.co.nz/. They make good hard wearing gear. Not overly expensive when you consider what designer tee shirts cost. Have a look at the outdoor wet weather range. Now any Defender driver would be proud to be seen in that. If Land Rover want to charge well let them make the gear worth it. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

None of it really appeals to me either. For the Defender market the range needs to be a bit more radical. Well designed T-shirts with decent designs, fleeces etc. will sell like proverbial hot cakes, as they are regular use items and can be pitched at an affordable and justifiable price range. There is one individual however who would be very well suited to the range depicted in your link......

I'd have been interested in the leather credit card holder thingy... Until I realised I'd have to get a credit card just to buy said holder. No Guts, No Glory.

I think the 2 model cars say it all. A Discovery and an Evoque and that is the type of person these items are predominately aimed at.
As previously mentioned, where is the outdoor gear, fleeces etc: at a reasonable price. LANDYWATCH Neighbourhood Watch for Land Rover Owners http://www.landywatch.co.uk/smf2/index.php |
