Plans coming together now for the YORC stand, nothing flash, just a selection of typical motors that compete in our trials / take part in club activities, plus their owners of course - ie. a few friendly faces to chat about what we do as a club, about the motors, etc, some photos and videos etc.
Also had a chat to Diana this afternoon re. Arena activities - looks like YORC will be doing a little circuit of the arena and interviews about 10.15 on Saturday! I've been talked into saying a few words about the club Whoever is going, so ya there and fingers and toes crossed for at least reasonable weather !! I'm there for the weekend, camping with the lads on the D3 forum.
No doubt see a few of you around. Be in my 110 with roof tent & awning now back on for the summer. Mrs & kids in tow. Let the weather be kind to us. |

I'll be there guys.
My D2 will be on the YLS 4x4 stand alongside APB Trading - the kettle is always on! I was flattered last week to learn that while my Disco was up on the ramps at my local indy it was spotted by the feautures editor from Land Rover Monthly magazine who asked who the owner was because he wanted it on their stand at Harrogate! I had to decline as I was already committed to YLS, but it was nice all the same that a total stranger looked at my Landy and said "hey that's cool, I want that on our stand"! See you all there. Guy DINGO - '99 Discovery 2 V8 with 300Tdi transplant, chawton white. Repatriated from Australia and expedition prepped. **FOR SALE** SHARKY - '06 Discovery 3 HSE Auto, bonatti grey. SOLD. GEORGE - '99 Discovery 1 300Tdi Auto, willow green. Daily driver, travel companion, part of the family! SOLD. PINGU - '96 Defender 110 300Tdi station wagon. SOLD. Dream LR - 130 pop top station wagon camper. |

You are not the only one Pete. Just make sure you have plenty of decent beer (NOTE beer not girly lager) on your stand. Just in case we run short we can always mount a cross the road traders stand raid Brendan PS yes I still have a load to do! |

I'm not a man and I don't have a hairy chest
Proper real ale brewed in Yorkshire is what we will be drinking on our stand. None of that foreign stuff Brendan brings back from his jollies to the Continent. Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |
