Yep i washed it, its full of dust and crap on the inside, been leading stone all week. 4K miles in 5 months, the bumpers rusting and one screen hinge is bubbling, same old same old. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

http://smile.webshots.com/smiles/c36da31e8...647805a10c There you go - another Keswick Green SW. I really kept it simple when I bought this, no air con, no electric windows, no central locking etc - the only 'creature comforts' inside being cloth seats and the heated windscreen. It didn't even have a stereo when I bought it but I've since added one along with a cubby box. 10 months and 10,000 miles down the line it's going well and (touch wood) hasn't been near a garage yet, though to be honest there's a couple of jobs to do on warranty when it goes in for its first service in July. (apologies for using the URL above, I tried using the [img] link but failed miserably) Cheers Tony |

Axel is leaving today and heading for Cornwall, lets see if anyone can spot him and say hello, believe he's heading for stockport first, keep your eyes peeled for one of our visiting Forum members. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Thank you, I appreciate that! I came very close to changing my mind whilst it was on order as I like the black ones, but I feel black looks better with alloy wheels whereas Keswick Green looks right with steel wheels. Without wishing to sound like a Luddite my preference is for the more traditional look, and of course the beauty of the Defender is we can create the vehicle that suits us! Thanks! |
