Chances are very strong that it would be illegal.
Reason being that there is a good chance it would intrude to far into the windscreen wiper zone. If I remember correctly for driver zone A nothing is allowed to protrude more then 10mm into the top of the swept area. So unless you get a superslim LED bar I would advise against it. Brendan |

I would agree with Leeds, it would be too bulky to put inside above the windscreen! 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

Pretty sure my rear view mirror and sun visors protrude far more than that so unsure how to interpret the rules. |

how adjustable are the mounts on these please.
ie: can you easily angle them up an down. I couldn't quite work out from the pics can you also slide them along the length to suit existing mounting points - for example on my SD roll cage? CC |

IF fitted as original and working correctly then rear view mirror and sunvisors are OK However a sun visor can be the cause of an MOT failure!

Thanks Brendan, so on that basis if I mount a full width light bar so that it can be stowed (not sure of the logistics of that yet) I should be ok? |

Shaun, I would suggest you have a few words with your local MOT station and see what they say.
Just make sure they are aware of the rules re obstructions on windscreen and understand what you are trying to do. Brendan |
