Garage have just phoned to say that they can't find a problem with it - they have checked the wiring, the sensors, earths etc as per the technical bulletin - all OK EXCEPT the lights keep coming on! with nothing logged in the computer - they are phoning LR in the morning to see what else it could be.
Hope this get resolved soon as I paid a lot of money for a car that I've owned for 12 days and for 6 of those it's been back in the garage Big Cry

That's great news William8 - i'll double check mine when I get the car back, my negative was loose when I first got it - so loose that it wouldn't turn over the morning after I brought it home! so I tightened it - I did check the positive, but the design of the conical terminals is not too clever - defiantly worth a double check.
Cheers

Yeah well i did an Ohm test of all the sensors, and prodded the plugs a little, still nothing and then i tightened the terminals and i sorted itself.

My positive to the battery was loose (its the one that attaches to the bottom of the bar on the side of the battery). I thought they were tight enough but tighter works. William

The garage have just said that they have found a fault - it was a wire to a rear sensor that had been rubbing and bared the copper causing the fault (nothing new then), odd that it wasn't logging a fault code on the computer.
Anyway - off to pick it up in the morning, another 400 mile round trip, hopefully with a Very Happy this time and not bathed in amber light!
Just ordered a scan gauge so I can see whats going on Series IIa Lightweight - Long Gone
