Looks great a13x. Makes you wonder why some special edition models (eg Nene and Kahn) spend a fortune producing dogs dinners where a few tasteful additions such as yours would produce a really attractive Defender.

More to do tomorrow. Need to source some carpet to finish the rear where bare metal is still visible.

Rear and headlining now complete with Dynamat. Rear door done too and Naka gas strut fitted at the same time. However it pushes the bottom trim out of its clip on closing. More investigation needed there.

Next up the doors and bonnet. Need to order the Entreq bonnet catches. MobileCentre full led lights to go on too.

Looks excellent!

Thanks for posting this - I'm taking my side panels off at the weekend to put extra dynamat underneath Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Superb looking truck Alex.

how much weight in total does the dynamat add ? i like the idea, but adding it to the roof ... i'm thinking it would alter the CoG

I'm not sure exactly but a rough 10-15kg for the roof. Tiny amount in comparison to a roof rack and gear on top. Personally the weight doesn't worry me, no fun going round bends in it quick anyway

Why on earth would anyone put a ground anchor there? Just so dangerous. Look how shiny and completely unused it is! So it's not for ease of access as result of regular use..... I use a bread knife quite often when camping but don't feel the need to tape it to the bonnet with the blade sticking forwards. Love the rest of it tho.

Will be 2 front and 1 rear lamp, fridge, winch, Ctek battery charger and 1 spare. That's the intended idea at this minute anyway.
