As a 'Brylcream Boy' for the last 30 years I don't fix 'em but have driven military Land Rovers a great deal. I usually break 'em and get MTMS to fix it! Ours, on the other hand are quite pretty compared to our Army brethren's, the glossy green one's come with a white roof that shows up the bird more, the blue TD5s are a quite nice shade of blue, the bird scarer's is yellow and we have some skanky white ones too. The green ones are a bu993r, you can polish them all friggin day and try as you might you cannot get the matt green to sheen at all...... If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

There's the new 'Izmir blue'. I don't know how grey that is. Lago grey was the one I was thinking about - slightly darker than the stornaway grey. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

No Idea
It looks like the web site builder is a bit of a thickO. Note that there are no 'flat' or farmers colours shown. |

I can't help but think these impressions that are on the Land Rover website are a complete waste of time.
the link below is to what I think is an Izmir Blue Def. Almost look Silver? and why change from cairns blue to Tamar blue (they're almost the same aren't they)? &feature=related |

The discussion on the colours of military Defenders is purely accademic
There's no colour that can be changed by a squaddie with a big pot of paint and a yard brush MAD COW 2007 90 Hard Top - 2009 BMW F800GS - 2002 CCM 604E Dual Sport Project90 |

True but in reality are very different. The dealer in Germany has a rack with 10cm X 10cm pices of steel sprayed in the colours- it really des make a huge difference. Glyn |
