bull bars
Hi members of the best online landi forum,

I'm about to spend a considerable amount of hard earned dosh on vehicle prep for overlanding in a couple of years. Can you assist please? Is it legal to fit a TJM Bull bar or similar to an 08 puma? I feel its necessary for the travelling I intend to do but need it to be legal in the mean time. When I get some of the mods done I look forward to coming out to play with you guys.

We still have the ability to fit these pedestrian friendly designed accessories on our vehicles here, though for how long only time and politics will tell Crying or Very sad

If you can I'd recommend the ARB over a TJM as they are a heavier build quality, at least in Australia. That said you can also save some weight by putting an equip 4x4 style winch bar on. You don't get the top corner wing protection though but a few lbs of weight off the front is a big plus. 110 2.4TDCi

Try the search function - there's loads of advice on this here (I think I posted something a few days back).

Basically it's legal to FIT anything. It's only illegal to manufacture it or sell it.

However, all's legal for 'fair use' ie farmers, overlanders, winchers...

You'll be fine - just don't drive too fast near schools Thumbs Up One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
