Thanks for the info.
We've stocked up with pens, books and clothes to give away. Imodium was high on the list of things to bring. ![]() This time it seems to be more of a race/challenge rather than a site seeing tour (boys trip away), but I'm planning to head back in July and September for a more relaxing time with the family. I'll post a link to the GPS tracker once I get there, and of course plenty of photos. ![]() |

I would strongly NOT recommend giving anything away. Keep it to someone who makes you a favour, invites you to his home etc. Janusz www.yahodeville.com |

It stopped registering after 100km/hr, the sensor just needed moving closer. I did have it running of the gearbox speed sensor but it wasn't reliable enough, kept jumping, any ideas on that would be of help. Tried screened cable but it still seemed to be picking up interference. Yaho, Regarding the stuff to give away, as you say it's for favours and people who deserve it. |

Yes, the children, bless them ![]() They even opened the rear door of my team mates Disco as he drove out of a river, a lot of his camping gear fell out and was either nicked or washed away. Other than that, its a great country. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy |

signal wire not run near alt cables etc? we have run off the speed sensor no problems so far on others i have used, only just physically fitted mine though (yet to be checked) did you try it with a different speed sensor what was the calibration number off the speedo? higher than 1000? Another link with photos etc.
http://www.findmespot.com/spotadventures/i...pid=321515 Hoping to return in September and take it at a much slower place, although not a competition, the pace seemed to like a mini Paris-Dakar. Excellent scenery and wonderful people. Defender back a the house now, major clean out. Covered 10 000 Kms in just over two weeks. As mentioned in another thread, no problems during the trip, until we started the journey home and suffered loss of power and strange temperature readings. Re-seated all the relays as suggested and all seems to be ok for the moment. The only other thing is that both front and rear diff seals are now leaking, and both ends of the transfer box. Off to do some more investigating. |

I've been there several times, in Landys and on motorbikes.
My advice is to travel light, you can get everything there you need. Even in more remote areas. Get away from the usual pistes and tracks. To get the best experience go as remote as possible, fuel is everywhere even if you have to ask for it, take a jerry can though. the trip through Spain will be harder on your engine and transmission more than Moroccan itself. All you need is a credit card and some spare pants. relax. Sib Bath UK 1952 80 inch 1973 88 inch 2018 Morgan plus 4 narrow body |
