I'd have thought Pete / BAS would be the guy to ask - after all he's tried / done the V6?

Pete would be doing the electrical side Thumbs Up

Changing chassis is not an issue, was looking to lengthen wings and bonnet by 210mm

But there is all that space where the wings are Whistle

If its a no go how much is the engine and box worth ? May just stick them on the bay.

3.6 tdv8 or the new 4.4 tdv8.

Both would be relatively straight forward to get running... And not on some outdated aftermarket ecu system that wouldn't even use on my lawn mower.

Apart from the cost of the ecu solution, the other big cost is a gearbox to hold onto it....

Manual you have a few options starting from £6000 + vat to about £20,000.

Or we could get the 6 speed or 8 speed gearbox working properly in a Defender Whistle
