I have an IRB one on my 110.
Yes, it makes the engine pull from lower RPM's much better. just like a modern diesel (which all seem to have VNTs or VGTs) Top end power is no different, as the boost is still set at the same limits, but as said, it's just a smooth level of torque all the way. definately worth it I think. Im not far from hatherleigh if you know were that is Thanks for the replys if if helps to flatten out the torque curve and give the truck a little more at low revs then im thinking it will be on the cards pretty soon |

Jim did you have it remapped as well or did you just swap out the turbo

Can you drop us an email, with the spec of the Defender you've bought, and details of it's previous owner. It might be that the tuning was restricted, and there is more locked away.
