Diesel Gas Tank Size
Hi all,

Currently looking into getting LPG for my TD5, not for the fuel savings, but for the extra power. I dont want to start an argument as to whether it is worth it or what ever. I am just interested in those that have had the conversion done. What i would like to know is where you had the tank mounted and of what size, including any modifications that needed to be done to fit it in. I do not want it in the cab, the the only place i get fit the tank is the drivers side, in between the outrigger and the radius arm bracket. Most installers have told me they can fit a 32l tank (25l usable), but this would mean having to fill up with LPG twice to one tank of diesel.

Thanks

A read of this may interest you perhaps? I converted a V8 Disco and would do it again like a shot but purely for affordability.

Do you have a particular tank in mind? I had though of this, but because of the battery box and being unable to find a tank that is 130 in diameter, the distance from the cabin floor to the bottom on the chassis is 270, i forgot about it.

Here is a picture with the dimensions of the space under the drivers seats
